The DEK 13HP Petrol Engine 2:1 Reduction is built for applications where you need more torque and controlled output speed than a standard horizontal shaft engine can provide. With its integrated 2:1 reduction gearbox, this engine is well suited to machinery, drive systems and equipment that benefit from extra pulling power and lower shaft speed. 

Powered by a 389cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke petrol engine, it delivers 13hp and features both electric start and recoil pull start, giving you flexibility depending on how the machine is being used. The engine is fitted with a 1” (25.4mm) output shaft and the listing notes a 3000rpm output shaft speed, making it a useful option for a range of commercial, agricultural and contractor setups around New Zealand. 

The product page also lists a 6 litre fuel tank, 1.1 litre oil capacity, and a 34kg engine weight, giving you a solid, workshop-ready engine without moving into oversized industrial territory.
