The DEK GP40 Petrol Water Pump is a handy small-capacity pump for Kiwi customers who need a simple, portable solution for moving water around the property. Listed as a 40mm (1.5”) portable petrol water pump, it is well suited to general transfer jobs where you want something lighter and easier to handle than a larger 2” or 3” pump. 

This model is powered by a DEK DJ90 2.5hp 90cc 4-stroke petrol engine and features recoil start with TCI ignition, giving you a straightforward setup for occasional and light-duty pumping work. The product page lists a 2.5 litre fuel tank, making it a practical option for small water transfer jobs around gardens, tanks, troughs, washdown tasks and general property maintenance. 

On the pump side, it uses an engine self-suction centrifugal pump design and delivers up to 250 litres per minute at level, with a maximum head of 22 metres and maximum suction of 2 to 3 metres. It is also fitted with a ceramic carbon seal, helping support durability and dependable everyday use.
