The DEK F220E 5HP Diesel Engine is a practical replacement and drive engine for Kiwi customers needing compact diesel power for pumps, machinery and general workshop or rural applications. It sits in the diesel engine range on the Collingwoods site and is designed as a straightforward horizontal shaft engine for equipment that needs reliable diesel performance in a manageable size. 

This model uses a 4-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled diesel engine with 418cc displacement and is rated at 5HP / 3.7kW @ 3600rpm. It comes with both electric start and recoil start, giving you flexibility depending on how the engine is being used and whether battery starting is available. The engine is fitted with a horizontal 20mm keyway shaft and counter clockwise PTO output direction, making it suitable for a range of machinery and replacement engine setups. 

The product page also lists a 3.5 litre fuel tank, 1.65 litre oil capacity, 72dB(A) noise level at 7 metres, 35kg weight, and dimensions of 420mm x 480mm x 460mm. DEK also notes quality NSK / NTN bearings, which is a useful durability feature for longer-term use in demanding environments. 

As with other serviceable engines and machines we sell, this unit is started, oiled and tested in our Hamilton workshop prior to delivery.
