The Gallagher Garden & Pet Protection Kit (G46511) is a complete electric fence package designed to protect gardens, lawns and outdoor areas right across New Zealand. Instead of chasing escape artist dogs or waking up to damage in the veggie patch, you get a safe, effective barrier that animals quickly learn to respect.
At the heart of the kit is Gallagher’s S6 Lithium Solar Energizer. It sends short, harmless pulses along the fence wire that create a strong “no go” message without harming pets or wildlife. When a dog, cat or pest touches the live wire and the ground at the same time, they feel a quick shock, then learn to avoid the fence line in future. You get reliable psychological control without needing a huge physical fence.
Everything you need comes in the box. The kit includes 200 metres of poly wire, 10 fibreglass posts, clips, insulators, warning sign, earth stake and the compact solar energizer, so you can build a custom fence layout to suit your section. For most Kiwi backyards you can be up and running in under an hour with basic tools.
Because the energizer is solar powered with smart adaptive energy control, it keeps the fence live day and night, even through cloudy weather, making it perfect for remote corners of the section or lifestyle blocks where mains power is not handy. Once installed you can pretty much set and forget, only checking the fence line occasionally for vegetation and general maintenance.
