The Gallagher Ring Top Post 728mm has redefined the classic pigtail standard, giving New Zealand farmers a tougher and easier option for portable electric fencing. Designed from the ground up to be wear proof, stomp proof and tangle proof, these posts are perfect for rotational and strip grazing, subdivision, and temporary grazing in crops or rough country.
The unique Ring Top head is centred over the shaft with no protrusions, so your wires or polywire do not snag or cut through the head over time. The over moulded glass filled nylon head contains no metal, which helps eliminate shorting and reduces annoying fence faults when stock are on.
A tough glass filled nylon foot plate and 7 mm steel foot spike give reliable holding in typical New Zealand soils. The foot plate is highly resistant to bending and is designed to withstand up to 160 kg of pressure, so you can tread the post in on hard or stony ground with confidence. Once in the ground, the foot spike helps stop the post rotating, which keeps your fence line neat and your wires at the right height.
At 728 mm high, this post works well for cattle and dry stock, lane ways, temporary subdivision and garden or feed break protection. The streamlined shape also means bundles of posts are much less likely to tangle in the back of the ute or side by side, saving time every time you shift a fence.
