The Gallagher S12 Lithium Solar Fence Energizer is designed to make portable fencing simple and reliable across New Zealand. This clever little unit combines a high performance lithium battery, smart electronics and an efficient solar panel to keep your fence powered day and night, even through changeable weather.
With 0.12 joules of stored energy and about 0.08 joules of output, the S12 comfortably powers short to medium runs of multi wire electric fencing, making it perfect for strip grazing, break fencing and small paddocks. In ideal conditions it can power up to about 1.2 km of multi wire fence and is recommended for around 0.6 hectares of property.
A big advantage of the S12 is the built in earthing through the mounting post. Just mount it on a Gallagher Ring Top Post or suitable steel rod and your earth is sorted, which keeps set up time low when you are shifting fences regularly. The lightweight, compact housing with integrated carry handle makes it easy to move on the bike, in the ute or by hand as you change breaks.
Gallagher’s lithium range uses smart adaptive energy control, constantly monitoring solar input and battery level then adjusting output to keep your fence live for as long as possible. That means the S12 can keep working for up to several weeks with limited sunlight, which suits New Zealand conditions where weather can change fast.
