The MulchControl system for the 48-inch Accel Deep (48A) Mower Deck makes mulching simple and practical. It delivers excellent mulching performance and lets you easily switch between mulching, side discharge, or collection โ€“ depending on your mowing needs.

Mulching offers a range of benefits:

The kit is made from durable, moulded plastic that wonโ€™t rust, bend, or wear easily โ€“ even in sandy conditions.

All kits are made of a molded plastic. It also will not bend, rust, and is more resistant to sand abrasion.

The MulchControl for the 48-inch Accel Deep (48A) Mower Deck makes mulching more practical for many mowing situations because it not only does an excellent job of mulching but it also allows the mower to be easily converted for times when it is more desirable to side discharge or collect the lawn material. Advantages of mulching grass clippings include a beautiful looking yard, reduced debris in unwanted areas, less fertilizer use required and elimination of need to dispose of clippings.

The new mulch kits are all a moulded plastic. In testing the new kits preformed as well if not better than the metal predecessors. It also will not bend, rust and is more resistant to sand abrasion.
