The DEK 22HP Petrol Twin Cylinder Horizontal Engine is designed for customers who need a bigger, more capable petrol engine for demanding machinery and replacement applications. Built around a 678cc twin cylinder 4-stroke engine, it delivers 22hp and is set up in a horizontal shaft configuration, making it a practical option for a wide range of commercial, agricultural and contractor equipment across New Zealand. 

This model comes fitted with electric start, a muffler assembly, oil cooler and cast iron cylinder sleeve, giving you a strong mix of performance, durability and day-to-day usability. The product page also lists max torque of 45Nm at 2500rpm, along with a 1” shaft and DC40W charging output, which makes it a useful engine for tougher replacement jobs where standard small engines are not up to the task. 

Collingwoods lists this engine as being ideal for chippers, large water blasters and large water pump replacement, along with many other machinery applications.
